Functions:
The Honor Council is comprised of equal numbers of faculty and students (up to seven each) that hear cases of academic and disciplinary penalties associated with academic dishonesty cases. The Honor Council will consider evidence offered by both parties and may ask for additional information from each party. It will then render its recommendations to the dean where the alleged Honor Code violation occurred in cases of academic penalties or to an officer within student affairs in cases of disciplinary actions.
